Fresh strawberries, rock melon, and sherbet with hints of cherry blossom on the nose. Fresh and bright in the mouth, with loads of red fruits and candied apples. A mineral drive gives way to a long, slightly spicy finish.

The 2021 Rosé comes from the home vineyard in Te Awanga. Characterised by shallow volcanic soils, an underlying clay pan and a fresh, coastal climate.

Machine harvested and pressed straight away to achieve a light yet intense colour. Settled, racked and fermented at cool temperatures to retain freshness and aromatics. The wine was then aged on lees for a few months to increase the palate richness and balance before being lightly fined and filtered.

Wildsong wines are uncomplicated and grounded with a gentle tale or two to tell of the soil they were grown in and the people who made them. Grown with respect, made with heart and packed with attitude. There’s a little Wildsong in each of us.

Contains Sulphites, fined using milk and fish based products.
