When water enters a Miraco MiraFount waterer, the closures float up and seal off the drinking ports creating a thermos for livestock. This allows for the water to remain at ground temperature, which is around 42° to 52° F.

The exchange of water through a valve ensures that the water stays warm in cold climates and cool in warm climates. With a minimum of 20 head of livestock, the MiraFount waterer will remain frost-free all winter with a 5-year warranty guaranteeing its durability.
