The Sunshed has 8 aluminum-frame, tempered glass windows along the side, and 6 polycarbonate panels on the roof. The Polygal polycarbonate covering is translucent, fluted and filters light, assuring that plants get only the best, most beneficial light. With an R-value of 1.53, it meets universal greenhouse standards for heat flow resistance. The 16" wide L-shaped Red Cedar wall workbench is great for getting jobs done, for relaxing and eating at, or, if desired, can even serve as a shelving unit for plants. The Sunshed also comes with 5 flower boxes and a 31" wide Dutch door, which makes for easy and comfortable access.
Shipped in knockdown panels, the Sunshed assembly will take between two to three days to complete with a helper and the kit includes a detailed homeowner's assembly manual, with all necessary hardware included. Because the shed is panelized, the walls, windows, door, and roof can be orientated in several different configurations to best fit your situation. The cedar roof comes with shingles already attached, while the wood comes unfinished, and can be painted, stained, or allowed to weather naturally.
