ABOUT OUR KNOTLESS SMOKED DRAGON CANES

Our Knotless Dragon Canes are crafted from our rare smoked dragon dragon cane full lengths that have a just single knot and strategically located so we can cut a 90-95 cms length out of it and the handle hide the knot underneath it. The result is an exceptional dragon cane where the exposed shaft has no visible knots. Some competitors market them as Ultimate Dragon Canes but since we use that nomenclature for our oil treated dragon canes. we call them Knotless or No Knot dragon canes that is a much more simplistic description of what it is. Only about 3-4% of our lengths come as single knots and only 50-60% of that will have a strategically located knot for a 90-95 cms cane. These are very rare and selective lengths that command a premium over our regular dragon canes.

DRAGON RATTAN CANE: This is the best grade of rattan canes we offer. These are specially imported rattan with long nodes , higher density, beautiful skin sheen and slightly stiffer than Kooboo Rattan Canes. The original English School Canes were crafted out of this type of rattan, now rare due to export restrictions. This rattan is very durable.

 

NO KNOT DRAGON CANES: These are out premium dragon canes which don’t have any knots on the exposed part of the cane shaft and made out of hand selected rattan lengths conducive for making these canes.

 SMOKED DRAGON CANES: These are a very rare variety of dragon rattan cases that are processed and heat treated for a medium to dark brown skin tone. Very difficult to obtain these days due to import restrictions and lack of exporters who still make these canes. We coat. these canes further in a water based polyurethane to preserve the skin tone from fading over time and retain the skin tone for the life of the cane.

I mounted it with a drawer pull

This wall mounted option met all my requirements, even though I feel it’s a bit pricey for just a small piece of wood and metal. It’s nicely finished and the shape will minimize leaving a dent in the padding of the headphones. I was worried that the color wouldn’t match my desk but luckily it was very close. Based on other reviews I didn’t trust the adhesive. Instead of drilling a hole into my desk I thought I would try attaching it with one of the drawer pulls. The hole of the wall hanger was just a millimeter too small for the screw of the drawer pull, but a quick mod with my power drill and it fits perfectly. I’m glad I didn’t drill into my desk, and if the position ends up inconvenient I can easily swap it to a different drawer. I would highly recommend this product.

Good, but seeing a lot of inconsistent user photos. Some have extra racks or a little knob for cables. Some mount with the bracket pointing downward (you can reverse it if you want) and with two screws. Also, the block I got is a dull poopy brown instead of the bright & vibrant brown on the photos of the product page & box. Understandable, I suppose-- given the nature of wood. Plastic/metal would certainly be more consistent, but I wanted this to match my black & wood aesthetic of my office. Luck of the draw on the shade of brown that I got, I guess. As nice as this hanger looks and as convenient as it is, the dull color is enough to make me want to just leave my headphones in the desk drawer when not in use. A drawer protects the headphones from dust as well. I don't live at my PC, so having them stowed away when not in use makes more sense for me. I didn't really think this though and got a lemon of a color. Likely a return.
