Appended at the rear of the book is a good and extensive (fifteen page) bibliography despite the author's preface stating "Some years ago, after my first season on a salmon stream, I searched the book shops for a volume that had in it the varied information I desired concerning Atlantic salmon. As there was no such book available, I decided to write one."
