Our water to air intercooler plates are available separately to suit Holden factory supercharged 6 engines (L67 engines). This is about the thickest intercooler plate that you can install in your commodore without having to modify the firewall*, which is required with our mega blizzard installation, whist producing very similar power gains to that of the mega blizzard!

Please note: This is the Intercooler Plate only, not a full Intercooler setup

For more information on the full kits and figures please visit Intermediate Intercooler kit & Mini Intercooler kit.

Exclusive to our blizzard range of water to air intercoolers, is their composite thermal resistant housing! What this means this means is that our coolers do a much better job of cooling the air from the supercharger, compared to their aluminium counterparts as the composite housing doesn't absorb anywhere near as much heat from the engine! Not only does this improve outright power, but also significantly reduces heat soak issues over conventional aluminium housings.

The above benefits stem from the fact that our composite material has a thermal conductivity of 0.29 W/m*K as opposed to 150 W/m*K for aluminium. Therefore, our composite material conducts heat 500 times less than Aluminium!

To see the difference between aluminium and our thermal composite material, check out our intercooler test video clip below.

With the installation of our intermediate blizzard intercooler, it allows you to drop from a 3.4 to either a 2.8 or 2.7 inch pulley, on a virtually stock car and all without the need of an expensive tune**. In addition, car idle and drivability remain unchanged even with the factory tune!

You can run an even smaller pulley for higher boost; however you'll most likely require a custom tune.

To give you an example in regards to what our intermediate blizzard intercooler is capable of, shown below is a dyno graph of our cooler in action

The mods that this car had to achieve these results are as follows:

* MACE mega blizzard intercooler kit
* 1.9 ratio rockers
* 17psi pulley
* Ported blower
* Cold air intake
* LS1 MAF
* Pacemaker extractors
* Twin 2 1/2 exhaust with high flow cats

From just these limited mods one can truly appreciate the awesome power to be had with our intercooler kit.

From comparative testing of this and other dyno's across the country, power outputs of our intercooler kit consistently outperform there air to air counterparts in both outright power and drivability; which have always had the upper hand in regards to outright power until now :)

This comic is just... wow. There just isn't anything bad about it except that the rest of the series is hard to find on Amazon. For now at least...

Solid "Star Wars"-ing.
Format: Paperback
“Star Wars: The Battle of Jakku” is a three-part, 12-issue comic series, comprised of a trio of individual miniseries that form one collective trilogy-of-sorts, and details the war between New Republic/Imperial forces in the weeks and months following the events of “Return of the Jedi.” Writer Alex Segura – who previously penned the underrated "Free Fall" – does a good job of telling a single, satisfying story that ALSO tees up his upcoming relaunch of the mainline “Star Wars” series in May. What also makes “The Battle of Jakku” a pleasure to read – particularly if you’re a diehard “Star Wars” fan - are the various Easter eggs and cross-franchise connections it makes to other entries in the series, including “Battlefront II,” Greg Rucka’s "Shattered Empire," and even Chuck Wendig's “Aftermath” trilogy. Watching this specific era of the “Star Wars” timeline be filled out and expanded within the larger media has been one of the more satisfying and consistently enjoyable aspects of the “Star Wars” property these last 10 years, and Segura – as is his want – does yeoman’s work in effectively putting a final bow on it. All in all, pretty darn good “Star Wars”-ing.
