Selenite is named after the Greek Goddess of the Moon, Selene, as they believe that the Goddess was trapped inside the stone. Although Selenite is found in many countries, its popularity is highly dense in Mexico. Selenite is commonly used as a clearing and purification stone for all that carries energy. Use Selenite to open and close a sacred circle. Selenite can be placed in the four directions (North, East, South, and Water) when gridding to anchor the energy. Selenite is extremely gentle.
