Austin Bell, a native of North Carolina, embarked on an ambitious project to document all 2,549 basketball courts in Hong Kong. His methodical approach involves meticulously mapping each court's location, then traveling to each site with both his camera and drone to capture the best angles. Many of these courts are off-limits to outsiders and require special permission for photography, making Bell's endeavor not just a showcase of athletic spaces, but also a rare glimpse into an often-overlooked aspect of urban life in Hong Kong.
