The Down and Feather 3-Chamber Firm Pillows are composed of three internal chambers. The center chamber is filled with feathers for support and to determine the weight of the pillow. Outside chambers encase the center chamber with goose down for softness.

*Fill power is a measure of the loft or "fluffiness" of a down product that is loosely related to the insulating value of the down. Technically speaking fill power is a measurement of the amount of space that one (1) ounce of down will occupy in cubic inches when allowed to reach its maximum loft.

Yves Delorme uses hand-selected mature white European goose down from free-range geese. The down is gathered during the molting season when it has reached its full size and potential to hold air. The loose down is not plucked, but rather collected as the geese are molting.

Care of Down Products

• Duvets, pillows and featherbeds should be fluffed daily to maintain the loft and fullness of the down.
• If stained, duvets and pillows can be spot cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap.
• If featherbeds or silk duvets become soiled, dry clean only.
• Do not use top loading washing machines or the agitation may damage the delicate cotton cover.
• Down duvets and pillows love drying in the sun. Spread them out on a sheet on the grass or deck, and shake them vigorously from time to time while drying. Or you may tumble dry in a dryer set on medium heat.
• Be certain your down duvets and pillows are thoroughly dry before returning to the bed or storage.
• Always store in cotton bags, never in plastic.
• Use pillow protectors on down pillows, and wash the protectors regularly. A mattress protector over a featherbed is strongly recommended.
