The original Promoto-MX was the first RC dirt bike to genuinely recreate the realism, balance, and excitement of riding a full-scale motorcycle. Now, Losi brings that breakthrough technology to the pavement with the Promoto-SM — the most authentic supermoto-style RC bike ever created.

Designed specifically for asphalt, concrete, and other hard surfaces such as streets, parks, and parking lots, the Promoto-SM introduces several key refinements over its off-road counterpart. These include Pro-Line Racing OE supermoto street tires mounted on smaller wheels, revised lean-bar wheels for smoother contact, and a more powerful front brake caliper. These changes allow the Promoto-SM to lean further, reduce noise, and deliver superior grip and stability on pavement.

Visually, the Promoto-SM captures the aggressive style of a true supermoto bike. Scale details such as hand guards, a shortened front fender, and officially licensed FXR graphics and rider gear complete the realistic appearance.

Under the bodywork, the Promoto-SM shares the same revolutionary combination of mechanical and electronic engineering that made the Promoto platform famous. A centrally mounted 2700Kv motor spins a steel flywheel at over 22,000 RPM, generating gyroscopic stability that keeps the bike planted at both low and high speeds. Patent-pending Spektrum™ MS6X technology translates commands from the DX3PM transmitter into precise lean angles, smooth turns, and controlled wheelies with remarkable balance.

Mechanically, Losi engineered the Promoto-SM using real motorcycle suspension geometry. A rising-rate rear suspension enhances traction and resists bottoming on aggressive riding. The newly designed front fork features an internal spring and damper that can be tuned with silicone oil and adjusted for ride height. A functional front and rear braking system delivers powerful stopping performance, cutting braking distance by roughly half compared to rear-only systems.

Together, these advanced electronic and mechanical systems allow the Promoto-SM to outperform any previous RC motorcycle at all speeds. With pavement-focused performance and unmistakable supermoto style, the Losi Promoto-SM proves that RC motorcycles can truly work — and work exceptionally well.
