Authentic Hagi Ware Characteristics:
This chawan embodies the signature qualities that make Hagi pottery so prized in Japanese tea culture. The bowl features the characteristic soft, warm glaze in gentle earth tones—pale cream, soft gray-blue, and warm amber that flow together in organic gradations. The subtle throwing lines visible on the exterior create a tactile, meditative quality. About Hagi Ware:
