The kit is built around the lightweight, dependable StudioMax III flash head. Like its big brother the Solair flash head, the StudioMax III employs Constant Color Technology. While its quite common for other brands color temperature to vary wildly when dropping from full to minimum power, the StudioMax III varies a virtually indiscernible 200K from full to 1/128 power. The two 320W/s heads and single 160W/s head are capable of fast recycling at full power as well as fast flash durations at minimum power, which is ideal for capturing every fleeting gesture with subjects in motion like athletes or dancers.

Of course theyre great for portraiture or product work as well and Photogenic has you covered on both counts. Included in the kit is 24 x 32" soft box- an ideal source for head and shoulders portraits. The 45" umbrella is perfect for use as a fill light. Use the StudioMax III 160W/s head on the included 3.0 stand to light the background creatively behind your subject.
