Most dog sofas look the part but fall apart within months — the foam collapses, the bolsters go flat, and the cover shrinks in the wash. The PoshPup SofaLux™ is engineered to last. A high-resilience flat sponge foam base (not egg-crate) holds its shape under daily use, while three-sided plush bolster walls give your dog something to lean against and curl into. The zip-off cover goes straight in the machine. A 600D Oxford cloth shell with waterproof liner protects the foam underneath. Available from L right up to a vast 3XL (135×100cm) — big enough for the biggest breeds, and apparently for their owners too.
Plush-covered bolster sides wrap three edges of the bed, giving dogs a headrest to lean on, a sense of security, and a cosy enclosed feel that anxious or older dogs especially love.
High-resilience sponge foam — not egg-crate — means better support and longer shape retention. 8cm deep on L, rising to 12cm on the 3XL for giant breeds that need serious cushioning.
600D Oxford cloth with a built-in waterproof liner keeps the foam core dry through spills, muddy paws, and accidents — so the bed stays fresh and odour-free for longer.
The entire outer cover — bolsters included — unzips and goes in the machine. No awkward partial covers or hand-wash-only panels. Clean bed, zero fuss.
Dotted rubber grip keeps the bed firmly planted on hard floors and tiles — even when large dogs jump in and out enthusiastically throughout the day.
From L (83×57cm) for Spaniels and Shepherds up to 3XL (135×100cm) for Dobermans, Cane Corsos, and Akitas. The 3XL interior sleeping area alone measures 110×75cm.

Sizing: Measure your dog nose to tail when fully stretched. The sleeping area (inside the bolsters) should comfortably fit that length — when in doubt, size up.
Washing: Unzip and machine wash the cover. Cool or warm cycle — avoid high heat on the plush fabric. The foam core is not machine washable; the waterproof liner keeps it protected.
Foam care: Spot clean the foam only if needed and allow to air dry fully before reassembling.
Floor placement: The anti-skid base works best on hard floors. On thick carpet the grip is reduced but the bed remains stable due to its weight.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the whole cover come off for washing?
Yes — the entire outer cover including the bolster sides unzips and goes in the machine. The foam core stays inside the waterproof shell and doesn’t need washing under normal use.
Is this suitable for dogs that chew their bed?
The 600D Oxford cloth shell is tough and scratch-resistant, but no bed is indestructible against determined chewers. If your dog is a heavy chewer we’d recommend supervising initially.
How do I choose the right size?
Measure your dog nose to tail when stretched out. Match that to the sleeping area dimensions in the table above — L has 68×41cm, XL 81×54cm, 2XL 98×73cm, 3XL 110×75cm. Size up if between sizes.
