More about linen:

Linen is naturally stain resistant, does not pill, and is moth repellent. It is easy to wash and is a very strong fibre. It is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, hypo allergenic and thermoregulating, it will also absorb up 20% moisture before feeling damp.

Flax is a strong plant best grown in northern Europe. It can grow in poor quality soil and due to the local climate, needs little extra water. The Advisory Commission Report to the European Parliament stated that flax cultivation has positive effects on eco-system diversity as it allows for an “environmental pause”. One hectare of flax can retain 3.7 tonnes of CO2. Every part of the plant is used, what isn’t used to produce linen can be used to make linseed oil, paper, cattle feed or even soap.

I did not leave the cap open and when not in use, stored vertically so the tip is pointing down (good habits for such products). Two uses and it was like it was empty. I could get a stroke here and there, but it just kept giving less and less. I'm so so soo bummed because it was amazing and so relieving for the brief moment I was able to use it. I thought my search was over. I may try it again - maybe it was a fluke.. but this is a great pen if it can actually provide more than a couple uses.

I did not have any trouble with the tip drying out while applying until 2 weeks ago which is your sign that it's time to purchase a fresh pen. I will continue to purchase this product for as long as they make it.
