The 1996–2000 Club Car DS uses a factory Curtis 48V controller. The Fleet Lithium 51V pack is fully compatible — no reprogramming, no controller upgrade, and no wiring changes required.

Yes. The BR2129 bracket kit provides a factory-fit installation. No modifications required.
Does my controller need reprogramming?
No. The factory Curtis 48V controller accepts the 51V lithium pack without any changes.
