Each turn, you either claim an Aide token for a round-specific boost or commit a party of hirelings to key island locations. Bigger parties get priority on rewards, but they also make you more exposed as rivals compete for the best timing and payouts. Between recruiting specialized hirelings, upgrading with gear, and deciding when to send your Dragon Companion for extra muscle, every placement is a tradeoff.
