This is the first statue to release in the all-new Darkstalkers lineup.
Morrigan is a confident, beguiling, sultry succubus of the renowned Aensland Family. She is next in line to rule the demon realm Makai once her foster father, Belial Aensland, has passed. Her strength, personality, demeanor are what make her unique and beloved by all, inspiring even the very concept for this statue. From how her legs are positioned to how she rests her hands on her knee, you can easily sense her bewitching and sensual nature.
The design of the base comes from Morrigans stage in the game, Deserted Chateau. In the foreground and background of the stage are numerous rock formations as if players were fighting in a cave. As for the coffin, the purple puddle, the skulls, and the candles on the base, these are details that can also be found in the background of Deserted Chateau. The coffin is resting on the left-most part of the stage, and to the right is a body of purple liquid lit by candles with skulls and bones floating.
In the Darkstalkers lore, Morrigans soul was split into three by her father as he found Morrigan to be a threat to Makai due to her lack of control over her immense power. One of her souls was given a body in the form of Lilith. The Player 2 colour variant is for those who prefer one of Morrigans more popular alternate colour palettes, as it is akin to Liliths colour scheme.
