A thoroughly decorate 1851 first edition plan or map of London, England by James Wyld. Centered on Blackfriars Bridge, the map coves central London from Islington to North Briin xton and from the East India Docks to Holland Park. Roads, parks, rail lines, important buildings, and neighborhoods are noted. To the left and right of center, the English language title is repeated in French and German, respectively.

This map is notable for its remarkable border, with floral corner flourishes and vignette illustrations of London landmarks, including, among others, Buckingham Palace, the British Museum, the Bank of England, London Bridge, and the Houses of Parliament.

Among the border vignettes, in a place of prominence just to the right of the title, can be found a self-promotional view entitled, 'Mr. Wyld's Model of the Earth in Leicester Square.' This is Wyld's Great Globe, an attraction built in 1851, the year this map was issued, in Leicester Square, which was then a private pleasure garden. It consisted of specially construction dome containing great sphere approin ximately 19 meters in diameter. On the interior walls of the sphere was a plaster of Paris scale model of the Earth. Scaffolding was erected at multiple levels so viewers could examine various locations in greater detail. The globe was a great success throughout its first year, but in subsequent years interest declined. The globe was deconstructed and sold for scrap in 1862. It was not until the 1935 construction of the Mapparium at the Mary Baker Eddy Library in Boson that a larger globe was constructed.

The map was printed in 40 sections that were clearly designed to be dissected and mounted on linen, an event where here, apparently never occurred. This map was issued in 1851. The present example is the first edition, first state. There were a subsequent 15 additional editions with numerous updates and revisions to about 1877.

Good pillow that becomes warm faster than competitors
Color: Blue, Size: Standard
I have bought several cooling gel pillows and am quite happy with this one with one caveat, that it doesn't retain coolness as long as other cooling pillows like my sealy that fell apart. Now, a cooling pillow will never retain coolness indefinitely, neither will a normal pillow, but this one tends to become just a normal gel warmth about 30 minutes before my old Sealy so I can't give it a full recommendation. It does however seem to be a nice pillow otherwise with a nice supportive firmness and provides a nice sleeping experience as a pillow, and when it's cool it's quite cool. It holds up the coolness for about an hour while sleeping in a case normally and maybe close to two hours when I have the AC on.

Great cooling pillow, and cat-approved!
Color: Purple, Size: Standard, Color: Purple, Size: Standard
I've been using this EGOHOME cooling gel memory foam pillow for a few weeks now, and the cooling feature is definitely the standout for me. The reversible cooling cover really does what it promises — it feels noticeably cool to the touch, especially when the AC is on, and makes a big difference on warmer nights. It helps create that fresh, cool sleep surface that makes it easier to relax and fall asleep. Beyond the cooling comfort, the memory foam strikes a great balance between soft and supportive. It keeps my neck aligned whether I sleep on my side or back, and I’ve been waking up feeling more rested with much less neck stiffness than before. The removable, washable cover is also a practical plus. One small note: the cooling effect does gradually fade after an hour or two without AC, so pairing it with a fan or air conditioning helps maintain that cooler feel longer. And perhaps the highest endorsement I can offer: my cat Duoduo claimed it immediately. She’s been loafing on it with a look of complete ownership ever since — I’d say that’s the ultimate comfort test passed.

Cool, Supportive, and Very Comfortable Pillow
Color: Blue, Size: Standard, Color: Blue, Size: Standard
I really liked this pillow from the first night. It feels soft but still gives very good support to the head and neck, so it feels comfortable in different sleeping positions. I also liked the cooling side, which feels nice especially at night when the room gets warm. The pillow has a good shape, feels well made, and the cover is easy to remove and wash, which is very helpful for regular use. Overall, I feel this pillow is worth buying if you want comfort and support together. It gives a nice balance, not too hard and not too soft, and I woke up feeling more relaxed. The cooling feature, washable cover, and memory foam support make it very practical for everyday use. I am happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

To think and the best cooling
Color: Blue, Size: Standard
The pillow is a little to thin..not as thick as it should be. The cooling feels good for a short period then looses it cooling for me.

Color: Blue, Size: Standard, Color: Blue, Size: Standard
Great pillow very comfortable and supportive I was pleasantly surprised by this pillow. It has the perfect balance between softness and support, keeping my neck well aligned throughout the night. The material feels high quality and it doesn’t get too hot, which is a big plus. After a few nights, I noticed better sleep and less neck discomfort. Highly recommend!!!!
