The heart is hand-cut in sterling silver with a piercing saw and then finished with a hammered effect and polished to a high shine. The disk is very small around 10mm across, and the heart in the center is around 4-5mm across. Each piece is handmade and therefore each disk and heart will vary slightly in size and shape.
The chain is made of sterling silver and is very light, it is available in three lengths 14, 16 and 18 inches. 16 inches is the most common. (Beware the 14-inch chain is only really suitable for children and very small teenagers wanting a choker). The 9th picture shows the 16-inch and 18-inch lengths.

Each necklace comes wrapped in tissue paper, and placed in a fabric bag ready for gift giving.
