Grounding Instructions:
For the fence to work correctly, it must be adequately grounded. If insufficient grounding is used, the whole system becomes less efficient. You will only get the full potential from the Starkline HKS200B energizer if it is correctly grounded. In conditions with particularly dry ground, the current flows less easily than in wet conditions and may require the use of additional grounding rods. Additional grounding rods should be spaced 6ft apart and joined with an additional insulated ground wire. Click here for additional grounding rods.
