The professional pen turner's mandrel is self-centering ensuring no more off-center turnings and/or spacers for short length projects. A totally new concept, this mandrel features a collet that ensures that the shaft is always exactly centered on your lathe. Because the collet body is hollow, the amount of mandrel shaft extending from the collet can be varied for turning everything from key chains to larger pens. The locking nut and collet work like the collet in your router, just loosen the nut and slide the shaft in or out to the length you need, then tighten. The small end of the collet body features a 5/16" thread that allows you to pass a bolt through your headstock and, with the mandrel shaft removed, the collet assembly can be used as a 1/4" collet chuck!Features:

Before Mounting, Re-look at the photos for bracket position to save frustration!

Good, solid quality feel, fit and finish... BUT, as other comments indicate, the brackets can be confusing. They come positioned inward for compact fit in the box. Remove the mounting screw from the end, then SLIDE the bracket off, position the L-shape away from the strip for mounting and re-insert the power strip. Others mentioned lack of a tool for bracket removal but none is needed, they simply slide off (they don't rotate while seated). I (and others, per the comments) envisioned it mounted with brackets turned inward (as they came in the box) but doing that puts a screw head in the way of fully seating the unit into the bracket with misaligned mounting screw holes. Came back to this ad to look at the pictures and VIOLA -- set the brackets outward and screw holes align for perfect fit! Quite honestly, made me feel like a chimpanzee given a simple puzzle to solve, and I FAILED the test until looking at the pictures! Reading the reviews made me feel a little better, seeing I'm not the only one!! All that said, this power strip provides great bang for the buck. I'm using it to power my desktop computer with a three-monitor display and external storage drives.

Extraordinarily Useful

We use this to plug in all of our chargers (an off brand mini chain saw, off brand mini blower, and way to many (but we love and use them) Ryobi products). The are on a shelf, easy to get to, no cords tangled, no plugging and unplugging. Great decision because this is a great product.

Better for entertainment center

Have it mounted under my workshop desk the mount ability is simple and works good also have my phone plugged in and the ports work good, the length of the cable is good if you want it somewhat far from the outlet only thing is I wish with the design they spaced out the outlets since ryobi’s charging outlets are bricks but other than that zero complaints
