"Outstanding ‘PX’ dessert sherry with a heavenly sticky date scent and deliciously thick liquid orange toffee caramel and brandy-soaked muscatel flavours steeped with hedonistic, high-toned, salty, rancio old oak notes that linger magnificently" New Zealand International Wine Show 2019

"Complex aromas of baked banana, fig, prune, and raisins. Dense and concentrated on the palate, with caramelised hazelnuts. Hints of Christmas cake spice and dried fruits... A luscious, rich wine!" International Wine Challenge 2019

"Baked figs, caramel, nutmeg and clove. Like cake mix from grandmas bowl. Elegant freshness to lift the fruit" International Wine Challenge 2017

"Treacle tart with rum and raisin ice-cream and butterscotch. Layers of complexity, stylish and well structured with an intense and lingering finish and an edge of orange peel" International Wine Challenge 2015

"Mocha, chocolate, orange peel, candied mandarin, star anise spice. Vibrant, intense, long-coffee finish. Exotic, complex, a memorable finish" International Wine Challenge 2018

"Opaque and viscous in appearance. Opulent, raisiny, expressive and indulgent on the nose; brooding and sweetly scented with a medley of dried fruits and dark chocolate. Silky smooth and luxuriously textured in the mouth; luscious yet balanced with an intensely sweet flavour delivery of coffee, fruitcake and liquorice. Concentrated and powerful on the finish" International Wine & Spirits Competition 2017

"Coffee-cream, milk chocolate and raisin. Unctously sweet with cacao and coffee complexity" Decanter Woeld Wine Awards 2018

"Delivers the weight you expect from a PX, but with fresher cut. The singed walnut, brown bread, ginger, ganache and Turkish coffee notes are allied to a mouthwatering spearmint and treacle spine. Features good energy through the finish to match the mouthcoating feel" James Molesworth, Wine Spectator, Aug 2014

"Deep polished oak colour with a coppery hue. Intense concentrated aromas, redolent of dried figs and dates with molasses and spice. Syrupy, sweet and textural in the mouth, a very good example of PX showing sweetness and length with a dry aftertaste, which demonstrates its finesse" International Wine & Spirit Competition 2016

This full, vigorous and perfectly balanced wine is produced from sun–dried Pedro Ximenez grapes. Lustau Pedro Ximenez San Emilio dark mahogony colour is almost black, with a delicious deep bouquet of the essence of sweet raisins. The taste is very sweet, smooth, pronounced and delicous just like dried raisins or sweet grape juice. It is smooth and sweet in the mouth. This Sherry is best served chilled

Sherry, is the anglicised version of Sherish, the Arab name for the city of Jerez. The wonder of Sherry is that one wine can take on so many different characters. It can be light and bone dry, it can be smooth and nutty, it can be rich and concentrated. The style of Sherry will depend on the way the dry white wine of the Palomino Fino develops. Sweet Sherries come from the careful blending of the dry wines of the Paolmino Fino with the sweet wines made from Pedro Ximenez and Moscatel grapes. In the bodegas of the Jerez region there lives a rare phenomenon. A yeast called Flor del Vino, or, for short, Flor, thrives in the cool, humid conditions. It grows like a smooth, creamy layer on top of the wine as it lies maturing in the butts, protecting the wine from oxidation, keeping it fresh even as it ages.

Food Pairing: This is a very sweet dessert wine that whislt it can be consumed its own also compliments rich, fruity puddings. It is also classically used as the sauce for one of the famous desserts of Jerez: vanilla ice cream with Pedro Ximénez Sherry.

Absolutely great. I’m a repeat buyer.
Absolutely LOVE this toner. My skin is slightly sensitive and this formula NEVER burns my face. Great exfoliation. No tightness or dry areas. Fantastic for the price and just as good or better than name brand or expensive toners. I’m a repeat buyer. Big bottle and lasts a while. I would highly recommend.

Hard to keep on the shelf
Yesyesyesyes Imo it's the perfect male equivalent of a Honeypot wipe. It's also rock solid for drying out oily skin but to me it's kind of expensive to use it like that. Easily my favorite out of all the Thayers tonics. The serum is also really good for converting red patches into poppable pimples which then just leave, and the sulfur cream is just invaluable as a leave-on make-up/healing combo. Thayers is good stuff man. It's a billion times healthier than benzoyl peroxide or adapalene and even SA is pretty rough on the skin in therapeutic doses. Thayers does such a good job of balancing herbs and gentle chemicals to provide a uniquely safe yet effective remedy, across the board. The only thing that was a genuine flop from them for me was the rosewater tonic, which smelled like God.

Results!!
I have been using this product daily for just over two years. It’s one of those things that you just put into your daily routine and sort of forget about it. I usually don’t expect to see a huge improvement with any product. I just use them hoping that I will maintain the status quo and that things won’t get too much worse. :) This past Mother’s Day, I was with my sons and grandkids. I usually avoid letting them take my picture because these darn kids always seem to catch me with an unflattering look on my face. I’m pretty sure they do this on purpose. Anyway, I must not have had my guard up quite enough because when I got home, my phone alerted, and it was pictures, of me, taken incognito. 😎 I cautiously looked, and to my surprise I couldn’t believe how good the skin on my face looked! I hurriedly scrolled back in my pictures on my phone to find a “before” picture from three years ago and I couldn’t believe my eyes. My skin looks so much better now than it did three years ago. I wondered, how could this be? The only change that I made was adding this product to my routine a little over two years ago. There is an actual noticeable difference. Now, I realize that my experience is nowhere near proof beyond all doubt, however, I’m not taking any chances. I will continue to use this product daily. It’s relatively inexpensive and my results have been great.

Game changer!!
This stuff is amazing! I bought it because there was somewhat of a trend online saying glycolic acid is great for girls with sensitive skin. I’m inclined to agree because I have very dry, sensitive skin and this product works very well on my face and my legs (post shave). This is meant to lightly exfoliate the skin, so if you’ve just shaved your face or skin, a day later, this is great to put on to help prevent any irritation. Also, this is good for dry skin! When I have some dry patches on my face, I buff the dead skin off very gently but thoroughly. Then I use this toner to help prevent it from coming back. I was skeptical this would work because my skin is so extremely dry sometimes, but it really works! It was perfect for doing my makeup with. I use it every once in a while if I need any extra exfoliating. Do bear in mind, though, it smells really bad. I think it’s the witch hazel or something, but the product by itself smells quite gross. Definitely put lotion on a few minutes after it absorbs into the skin. This is a great product and I’m very happy with it. 10/10 when used wisely.

NOT a "dupe" but has the same results.
I am NOT saying this is a "dupe" or that they are the same in any way because they definitely have different ingredient profiles... so don't come for me... But what I will say is that if you like the first aid beauty radiance pads but don't like the price tag then this may be a cheaper option for you. This is my second bottle of this toner and 3rd tub of pads and for me personally they perform the same. The Thayers is a little stronger of an exfoliant so if you have sensitive or dry skin do a patch test to see how your skin handles it. I use it in the morning after I wash my face. It gives my skin a nice glow, removes dead skin and anything left over after washing my face and just like the radiance pads helps my makeup lay so much better. I have cotton tissues that are smooth on 1 side and textured on the other that I use instead of cotton rounds. I pair it with the Thayers milky toner, maybe some other hydrating toners, a serum, a gel moisturizer and always SPF and even without makeup my skin looks amazing and healthy all day. This is also a 12oz bottle and lasts a long time because you don't need to use a lot for it to do it's job.
