This is an extremely attractive full color example of John Tallis' decorative map of the Western Hemisphere. Covers both North and South America as well as parts of Polynesia, Antarctica, and Siberia. Shows Texas as both part of and separate from the United States, with a faint but uncolored border - which none of the other states and territories have. Antarctica drawn in only sketchily. Near the southern tip of South America the mythical Aurora Islands are shown. The Aurora Islands were a group of three islands first reported in 1762 by the Spanish ship Aurora while sailing from Lima to Cádiz. They were subsequently and repeatedly sighted several times over the next 90 years. The last official sighting was 1852, after which they were ascribed to myth. No one knows if the Aurora Islands every really existed, but they do continue to appear on maps well into the mid 19th century. In any case, this beautiful map is surrounded by and elaborate border and 12 full color vignettes depicting the flora, fauna, and peoples of the Western Hemisphere. Vignettes show American Indians, an alpaca, walruses, a bison, a whale, Inuit peoples, and a great polar bear, among others. Possibly the most beautiful map of its type to appear in the 19th century. The illustrations were drawn by H. Warren and J. Rogers. The map was drawn and engraved by J. Rapkin for the 1851 issue of Tallis and Montgomery's The Illustrated Atlas, And Modern History Of The World Geographical, Political, Commercial & Statistical . This Illustrated Atlas… was one of the last decorative atlases of the 19th century.

Good choice for sensitive skin
Size: 25 Count (Pack of 1)
I purchased this in preparation for a trip. I wanted to be able to clean my face while on a flight but have super sensitive skin so normal makeup wipes burn and cause a lot of irritation. These are very similar to baby wipes. They have virtually no scent and work relatively well in getting off sunscreen. I haven tried with makeup yet so I can’t speak on that. I used about 2 or 3 and my face didn’t burn at all. I think it’s a good choice for those who want the convenience of a makeup wipe but can’t use regular ones.

Very gentle, yet effective
Size: 25 Count (Pack of 1)
These are a great bang for your buck! My daughter struggles with her sensitive skin. These make up wipes are so soft and feels like a gentle clothe. No obnoxious smells, and resealable. Perfect for traveling. Her skin feels great after wiping off the most stubborn water proof make up. The price makes it a no brainer!

Gentle but very effective in removing all types of makeup
Size: 25 Count (Pack of 1)
I had been using a different brand of make up remover towelettes for years until one day I opened up a new pack and my eyes swelled up and my skin looked burned around my eyes . A waited a few days & tried it again and same thing - only worse . It seems that the manufacturer changed the formula ( why manufacturers insist on fixing something when it’s not broken is beyond me ). Anyway , I googled and read up on all kinds of make up remover towelets and took note that the Simple Kind to Skin seemed to have the best reviews . I tried them and have been using them ever since . They are non greasy which I love , extremely gentle on the skin but excellent on removing makeup even stubborn waterproof mascara . And they don’t dry out your skin . Good product . Note to manufacturer : please do not EVER change this formula .
