The stately Norway Maple is best known for its stunning display of rich coloured foliage in spring, summer and autumn. The new leaves emerge in spring in a bold red hue and are slightly sticky to the touch. They then mature to a rich burgundy in summer, smothering the branches. As autumn approaches, they put on a display of fiery orange, red and brown before falling. In spring, pretty yellow flowers with a red tinge appear on the bare branches, adding all-year round interest.

Crimson Sentry’s are fully hardy and will tolerate most soil types. They are exceptionally resilient making them ideally suited to polluted urban areas, coastal areas and less than perfect soil types.
