The SX series incorporates all of the fully automatic features of our popular SMART TABS, in addition to the rust and corrosion-free benefits of molded composite materials. Assembly can be completed in seconds, and the installation in a few minutes. The only tools required are a drill with a 3/16" bit and a Phillips screwdriver. SMART TABS SX provide unequaled performance and durability with no maintenance in fresh or salt water. The system can be specifically tuned to maximize the performance of any power boat, and TRACKING RIBS have been added to improve handling at higher speeds.

The nitrogen Gas Actuator provides LIFT at the stern of the boat by holding the trim plate down during acceleration. The amount of LIFT is determined by the actuator load rating and the trim plate adjustment, which is done at the time of installation.

Nauticus trim tabs are completely automatic, requiring no operator adjustment while underway.

SPEED REGULATION

Nauticus trim tabs start in a downward angel to maximize lift at slow speeds. As the boat accelerates, the water pushes up on the trim plates providing lift to the stern which minimizes bow rise, and allows the boat to plane quickly.

Once the water pressure exceeds the actuator load rating (maximum lift) the trim plates move up to a horizontal position eliminating any drag.

BOAT STABILIZERS

Even when cruising SMART TABS continue to work like shock absorbers. The constant adjustment to sea conditions allow SMART TABS to provide remarkable stability in turns, while crossing waves, while cruising, and while running at maximum speeds. No more sliding, porpoising, or chine walking.

Improve economy, handling and safety

As the boat speed increases, the water pressure also increases. Once the water pressure exceeds the Actuator load rating (maximum LIFT period) the trim plates begin to move upward until they are horizontal with the bottom of the boat.

The internal valve system dampens the trim plate movement which eliminates any instant reaction to minor water pressure variances. Nauticus trim tabs provide smooth and undetectable reaction to boat speed creating a level, more comfortable ride at lower speeds.

INSTALLATION IS SIMPLE

With an electric drill, small drill bit, a phillips screwdriver, and two wrenches, just about anyone can install SMART TABS in less than an hour. Professional installers should be able to install SMART TABS in 30 minutes or less.

Tiny but Mighty Cleaner That Saved My Couch

I had wanted the Bissell Little Green for the longest time. If you have pets or children, a portable carpet and upholstery cleaner like this can come in very handy. One of my cats unfortunately peed on my couch, and I thought it might be the end of the line for it since it is a power recliner with non removable cushions. I picked this up as a last resort, and honestly also as an excuse to finally buy one. I debated between the plug in and cordless versions, but ultimately chose the corded model because it has almost twice the suction power. At first I thought the suction felt a bit weak, but once I saw the liquid it was pulling up I was very impressed. During the passes I could literally see yellowish liquid being extracted. It was gross and satisfying at the same time. I was also surprised by how brown and dirty the recovered water was. This machine is tiny but mighty. Weighing around 7 pounds, the Little Green is light and easy to carry around the house. It is also a bit quieter than a traditional vacuum. Cleanup is straightforward. You simply remove the dirty water tank and rinse it out. The vacuum head attachment rinses easily as well. For the hose, you can use the self cleaning tool by pressing the nozzle and running water through it for about 30 seconds. There are still some lingering smells, but based on the color of the extracted water it clearly did a lot of work. I just need to do a few more cleaning sessions on my couch. I am glad I finally bit the bullet and gave the Little Green a try. This adorable little machine may have saved me hundreds of dollars compared to hiring a professional cleaner or replacing my couch. Overall, I would absolutely recommend it for pet owners and anyone who needs a reliable upholstery and spot cleaner.

The Secret Sauce: The Drill Brush Pairing While the included 4" Tough Stain Tool is great for light scrubbing, the real game-changer is pairing this machine with a soft-bristle drill brush. My Process: I spray the stain using the Little Green’s trigger, let it sit for 30 seconds, then use the drill brush on a low setting to agitate the fibers. The Result: This combo lifts deeply embedded dirt and old pet stains that manual scrubbing just can't touch. Once agitated, I use the Little Green’s powerful suction to pull everything out. The water in the dirty tank is always satisfyingly (and gross) dark.
