B&H has put together this 3 Head Fluorescent Lighting Kit with Boom Arm Kit to offer photographers and videographers a versatile, multi-purpose set up for location work or for the studio. The kit includes three four-socket fluorescent fixtures, each with four 32W spiral bulbs. Two 8' and one 9.5' air-cushioned stands are also included. Thanks to the air-cushioned light stands, mounted lights will slowly descend, thus avoiding impact damage. To create soft, flattering light three 50x70cm (20x27.5") softboxes are included. They have removable front diffusion and require no speed ring for use. The included 6.5' Boom Arm has a tilt bracket that's a great fit for the 9.5' light stand. It's an ideal rig for hairlighting and other overhead applications.

  The 4 Socket Fluorescent Fixture from Impact is a lightweight fixture in a polycarbonate housing that accepts Edison-base compact fluorescent lamps up to 50W, for a four-socket total of 200W. The fixture's bracket tilts and locks into position and features a standard 5/8" receiver that mounts on any 5/8" stud or accessory, and also accepts standard photo umbrellas.

• 3 x Impact 50 x 70 cm Softbox for Fluorescent Fixtures

  The 50 x 70 cm Softbox for Fluorescent Fixtures by Impact is a light modifier that softens the output from Impact FF-S1 and FF-S4 single- and four-socket fluorescent fixtures, as well as Impact's SF-ABRL160 Slave Flash. Installation is easy - no speed ring is needed; each of these heads has four receptacles located around the face of the fixture. The softbox can be used with up to four 50W fluorescent lamps for a total of 200W.

  This Impact Heavy-Duty Air-Cushioned Light Stand is a black anodized aluminum support that rises to a height of 9.5' and folds down to 42" for storage and transport.
