- The Old Busker

A Bellingham classic, Old Busker is simply the finest coffee liqueur available. Locally roasted coffee meets craft distilled spirits.

Here in the Pacific Northwest, we like our coffee. And not just any old cup of joe fits the bill – we like the good stuff. So it stands to reason that we’d look for something more refined when it comes to a coffee liqueur. Enter Old Busker – Chuckanut Bay Distillery’s take on the age-old coffee liqueur.

Authentic from top to bottom, Old Busker is made from locally roasted, cold brewed coffee, real cane sugar, whole vanilla beans, and of course, Chuckanut Bay Distillery’s own spirits. There are more ways to drink Old Busker than we can count, and great bartenders are coming up with more every day. Enjoy it straight, on ice, in your coffee or hot chocolate, on the rocks with cream, on ice cream… the list goes on.

Awards

Old Busker Coffee Liqueur won the gold medal at the New York International Spirits Competition, a silver medal at the Bartender Spirit Awards, the gold medal at the USA Spirits Competition, the gold medal at the Seattle International Spirits Awards, and a silver medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Bad book for SOA exam, but oh well.
Format: Paperback
While required by Society of Actuaries as the textbook for Short Term Actuarial Models exam, I could not recommend this textbook for any other purposes. Written by two Canadian actuaries, a lot of terms and explanations used in this textbook cannot be transferred into US P&C insurance. It fails to explains insurance's purpose and products effectively and as an intro book with unnecessary sentences to deliver personal thoughts. It is also a mess in following sections on ratemaking and reserving. I cannot sense a flow from this book that guides readers in an approachable manner. Overall, author compromises the size AND the quality.
