If you want to create a zen atmosphere in a bedroom or bathroom, this fine Japanese towel is ideal. The design is hand-dyed using a traditional technique that was already in use during the Meiji era.
Note: the tenugui is a thin cotton fabric strip usually measuring 35 by 90 cm. It has no folds or hems so that it can dry quickly. If the edges of your tenugui start to fray, cut the protruding threads with a pair of scissors.
