I would not use it for big projects or heavy duty cutting since it will probably not be able to handle it. The best thing about this it’s that it’s compatible with almost all of my Dewalt batteries, which keeps me from buying other types of batteries and I’m able to use the ones I already own!

Probably would work for light duty. I used this thing less than 8 hours (less than a single day of work) and the saw broke at the base that it connects to the extension pole. The motor on the saw itself seemed powerful enough. It got hung up in a branch and then broke on one side of the battery slide in (which was connected to the pole extension, as per the saw's design) Probably buy a more durable one if you're really planning on doing some work with it. Bet it was made for city people.
