This tam has a diameter of 12.5" as opposed to my regular ones, which have a diameter of 11" - it hangs well over the ears and is a more authentic bonnet size, perfect for re-enactors or those keen to show off their Scottish heritage!This one is sized at 23" circumference with a little built-in stretch but if you'd prefer smaller or larger just leave me a note at checkout and I'll make you one for a perfect fit.
This knit tam features a rolled and stitched hem for easy styling, and the extra droop knitted in means it has a lot of room. To care for it, hand wash it and dry it flat. You can iron it on a two-dot setting if you need to reshape it after washing.
