The Chandelier Duvaux echoes the grandeur of the 18th-century French artisanship exhibited in The Met’s pair of elaborate chandeliers, which feature intricate acanthus leaves, seedpods, and crystal finials. Though their frames date to the late 18th century, the earlier crystal pendants in their design indicate that they may have been worked on by the dealer Lazare Duvaux (French, ca. 1703–1758), who not only sold, shipped and installed chandeliers, but also took them apart for cleaning or repairs.Dimensions

Handy, plenty of space. Diverts excess water to sink. Needs a tweak to keep the cloth hook in place.

Since it has a metal basket instead of a solid base, it much less messier, which I like. Like that it has a hook for a wash cloth, but that was constantly coming off with the cloth until I used some sticky paddy to help keep it in place. Would probably have returned ii if the time to do a return had been longer. I do like that it has a slope to divert the water into the sink instead of the countertop.
