This is a high quality custom metal bushing kit that will stiffen up the shifter in manual transmission Diamond-Stars. The kit includes metal bushings and spacers to replace the factory rubber pieces where the shifter plate mounts to the car, and a bushing sleeve that will take much of the play out of the shifter. These are NOT just some hardware store washers. The precision-machined bushings, including four with a specially machined concentric step, ensure that the shifter mechanism is perfectly aligned. The kit is completely compatible with short-throw shifters.

Fits 1991-1994 Mitsubishi Eclipse, Eagle Talon, Plymouth Laser five speeds. Kit includes metal bushings, metal shifter sleeve, and complete instructions. (There are even more detailed instructions on the web.) Sorry, not available for 1990 DSM.
We used to carry a kit like this called the "Symborski Shifter Kit." This kit is not that exact one, but works the same.
