Upgrade your Tamiya 1/48 F4U-1D Corsair with the Red Fox Studio 3D Cockpit Set (RFSQS-48063) — a premium pre-coloured detail set designed to give your late-war Corsair cockpit the depth, texture, and realism it deserves.
This upgrade includes ultra-sharp, high-definition 3D-printed resin decals that replicate the F4U-1D’s distinct cockpit layout, featuring accurate US Navy instrument faces, raised bezels, throttle controls, switch panels, and side-console detail. Printed in authentic WWII cockpit colours, each part captures the rugged, utilitarian look of the famous “Bent-Wing Bird.”
Installation is clean and easy: remove the kit’s moulded detail, apply the self-adhesive 3D pieces, and instantly transform the cockpit into a museum-grade interior — no tedious painting or photo-etch assembly required.
Perfect for Pacific Theatre aircraft including Okinawa, Iwo Jima, carrier-based operations, and late-war USMC strikes.
