What's New? The 22 boasts wrap-around GEL™, meaning you get a larger section of cushioning that actually extends all the way around your heel, better protecting you from impact. ASICS added a new monofilament mesh upper material is both softer and more breathable. The GEL-Nimbus 22 also sports an additional 2mm of FLYTEFOAM™ Propel cushioning for added softness.
Upper: New Monofilament mesh is softer and more breathable than previous uppers. Padded tongue and heel collar offer additional softness.
Midsole: Updated sockliner is more contoured for a better fit. Includes Rearfoot and Forefoot GEL® Technology Cushioning System. Ortholite® X-40 lasting under the sockliner adds step-in comfort. Gender-specific torsional stiffness offers the right amount of support based on the different anatomical needs of the wearer.
Outsole: AHAR®ASICS High Abrasion Rubber placed in critical areas of the outsole provides exceptional durability.
