"Delightfully elegant and restrained, the wine shows nectarine, lemon peel, oatmeal, cashew and nougat nuances on the nose, leading to a finely focused palate delivering excellent fruit purity combined with stylish complexity. Wonderfully structured and lingering. At its best: now to 2027" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Mar 2022

"Bright, even pale straw-yellow. The nose is softly full with an elegant expression of apple, citrus melded with a hint of spice and creamy lees autolysis. Medium-full bodied, expressive on the palate, apple, pear, citrus have concentration and a savoury edge, prickly spice enlivens the palate, along with lively acidity, creamy flow and a subtle bready element linger to a long, elegant finish. The fruit is ripe with a depth of flavours and concentration, harmoniously supported by acid precision. Creamy mouthfeel adorned with a light chalky texture. This is an elegantly presented Chardonnay with harmonious fruit and barrel elements, fine-textured and a long, lingering finish. Match with grouper and pork loin over the next 5+ years" Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews

"Lifted, bright, fresh, youthful, fruity and varietal with aromas of red apple and white peach, vanilla and a light white custard, some floral sents and mild oak quality. Youthful on the palate with a fresh acid line contrasted by white and yellow orchard fruit flavours. The vanilla and spice along with a satin cream texture layer in complexity and charm. Ready to drink from late 2022 through 2028" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier

"Attractive, fruit-focused Chardonnay with white peach, pineapple, biscuit and vanilla flavours. Soft-textured wine with a good balance of alcohol sweetness and tangy acidity. A well-made wine offering value at this price" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review, Feb 2022

The 2021 Penelope Jane Chardonnay is a beautifully balanced and powerful wine. Lovely citrus and nectarine flavours are perfectly integrated with hints of oak to create a fresh but complex wine.

Penelope Jane is one of the founders and matriarch of Clark Estate. Mother to Sarah and Simon, and wife to Peter. Ever since planting the first vines, Jane, as she is known, has wanted a Chardonnay to call her own. So, it is fitting that the wine made from our Chardonnay vines, where they have had to work hard and battle the many challenges but end up beautifully refined and elegant, take on the name of Penelope Jane Clark. This single-vineyard Chardonnay is beautifully balanced with delicate citrus and stone notes, lightly integrated with oak flavours to create a wine that has both finesse and power.

The Chardonnay vines are still young, growing in an area with more stones than soil. Each year the vines have to survive through harsh frosts, strong winds and stony soils. As a result, yields are always low as the vines divert their energy into surviving rather than producing a heavy crop. The low yields combined with the long growing season of the Upper Awatere valley intensifies the fruit flavours ready for harvest in late March.

This style of Chardonnay is driven by the cool climate of the Awatere Valley and the use of older oak barrels. The subtle oak flavours integrate beautifully with the citrus and lighter stone fruit flavours of the fruit. Once ferment is complete, the wines are kept in barrel for several months maturing on the yeast lees. Before bottling, the wines undergo Malo-Lactic fermentation, although this is kept to around 30% so as not to dominate the final wine.

Very durable
Color: Blue
I have never written a review but just have to say how much our Pitbull LOVES this toy. It is very sturdy very good since he is such an aggressive chewer. This is only the second product I have found that he can’t destroy in 5 minutes. It keeps him busy for a long time and plays with it long after the treats are gone which is good as too many treats and he would gain weight. Highly recommend it. He weighes 70 lbs and the largest one is the perfect size. Kibble doesn’t work as it empties out immediately. I use Beggin Strips cut to size just to fit in the hole—they will come out but not all at once and survive his chewing on the toy.

Overall good toy for dogs
Color: Blue
My dog loves her snoop. I put little training treats in there for her, and she loves to roll it around and get the treats out. For her, it doesn’t last very long because they do fall out pretty easy, but she is a big dog so a smaller dog might have a harder time than her. Very sturdy and easy to travel with. Not noisy at all. I would say it’s a good, quick play toy for a dog like mine.

Fav Chew Toy 🦴
Color: Blue, Color: Blue
My baby is half rottweiler and half doberman &’ he has a pretty strong grip when it comes to chew toys. But this one, it’s his favorite toy! He never leaves the house without it. It’s also really fun to add his favorite treats in there when’s he bored to keep him entertained! Not loud at all and will keep him from chewing on other things and not heavy as other rough chew toys!

Great you made super well
Color: Blue Lil Snoop, Color: Blue Lil Snoop
This is such an awesome toy. It’s super durable strong bounces and a perfect size. We got the small. We got blue because our pup can see it. It allows for creativity and endless limits to what you can make for it to be a fun experience. It has a nice sized hole in the center which allows you to add treats and food. Pop it inward and it slightly if large enough prevents the treats from coming out super fast. The ball rolls bounces and they can grip it nicely. It is easy to clean The only thing I didn’t like was the way the plastic tabs were situated inside the toy as you just be careful you don’t allow it to drip inside and dog gets it. No noise just fun. Our 15lb Cavapoo loves it

No challenge once they figure it out once, or if they have a long nose
Color: Blue
The first time I used this with my 9 month old Shepard mix, it was great. We used about 1/3 cup of her kibble and added the Nook to make it harder. It kept her working for 20-30 minutes. However, now that she knows how to remove the Nook, and stick her snout into the opening and lick up the kibble, it lasts about 5 minutes, and is no longer a challenge. She still enjoys playing with this, even when it is empty, and hasn't it destroyed it yet, so for that 3 stars.
