MAINTENANCE

Please read the instruction manual before using your Char-Broil barbecue to ensure correct use.

PAINT CARE:

The barbecue is painted with a long-lasting anti-Catholic powder paint resistant up to 300 ºC. A mistake that barbecue owners sometimes make is that they fill the barbecue with too much charcoal, close the lid and the temperature inside the barbecue skyrockets. If the temperature inside the drawer exceeds 300ºC (approx.), the paint may peel off. These warnings are present in the manual, so they are not covered by the warranty. However, if this happens to you, with fine metal sandpaper and an anti-heat paint spray you can quickly restore your barbecue.
Remember that it is not always necessary to lower the lid to cook with Char-Broil barbecues. Only in very specific cases such as when smoking, for example. To cook with the lid closed you have to control the temperature very well with just the right embers.

GRILL CARE:

The grill is made of enameled cast iron, resistant, non-deformable and durable. When the grill is still hot, we will take the opportunity to scrape it with the metal brush and remove any remaining remains.

PROTECT THE BARBECUE:

If you store your Char-Broil barbecue outside and it is exposed to rain, sun, air, humidity, etc. It is highly recommended to have a cover to protect your barbecue from the elements.
