The Ronix August is the board built specifically with kids in mind, built around the idea of an entry-level board to learn and develop on. Ronix's only kid's board, featuring a specific toeside and heel side edge to help develop transitions between your edges. A lighter sharper toeside for easier cutting on your toes, as well as a softer, more forgiving heelside edge with shorter fins for softer landings and mellower transitions. On top of this, the Ronix August has a wider profile body for a more even and stable ride. When you want to get your kid's out on the water without the stress of worrying about how the board will control, look towards the Ronix August providing everything you need and more.

The Ronix August boot is the kids-specific designed Ronix model, accommodating smaller, narrower children's feet.   Coming with a stage 1 liner and a universal tongue, it is designed upon the idea of remaining lightweight and comfortable while accommodating multiple foot sizes. Combined with built-in j-bars and an articulated cuff will allow the August boot to flex freely while providing plenty of heel lock to provide an extra response.

      MUST READ!
      Format: Hardcover
The First State of Being is set in 1999 during the uncertainty of Y2k. Michael Rosario doesn't have any friends, unless you count Mr. Mosley, the maintenance man in his apartment building, and his babysitter Gibby. Michael worries a lot about the future, his mom, and just about everything else. So when a mysterious teenager (Ridge) shows up near his apartment complex one day, and says he's from the future, Michael is determined to find out what's to become of the world when the year 2000 is here. Will Ridge be able to calm Michael's fears? Fans of A Rover's Story by Jasmine Warga will love this story about family, friendship, time travel, and facing one's fears. Erin Entrada Kelly's voice makes this novel a must read. It's amazing!

Even a Gilded Cage, Is still a Prison that Prevents Us From Flying
      Format: Kindle
Three cheers to Lee Winter and narrator Chelsea Stephens! Lee, I love the entire full circle journey you share with us for MCs Sienna and Jasmine. The souls of each are like a chemical reaction in that each is a catalyst to each other. Jasmine ignites a chain reaction in Sienna that launches her into the world and 10 years later Sienna ignites a chain reaction in Jasmine that frees her from her Gilded Cage. Lee, what a wonder to behold, when we allow ourselves to fly!

      Something About This One
      Format: Kindle
I found myself really really liking this one, despite initial misgivings. Sienna is hope and vision, and she was the perfect counterpoint for where Jasmine is on her growth journey. What I liked the most was both MCs frankness and maturity.

      Fate. She is powerful.
      Format: Paperback
“She loves me. And I broke her heart.” (p.246) Fate. She is powerful. She comes from deep historical roots with points of view that range from philosophy (a diverse range of POVs), Psychology and Religion. Here, fate is frequently portrayed as an inescapable, cosmic force that binds Sienna and Jasmine. An inevitable rather than accidental “destined mates” scenario, believed by one, “she just goes with the flow. Wherever fate takes her,” (p.323) and discredited by the other. And yet free will insists on entering the room. Why? Because choices still happened. Some careful. Some reckless. Fate may have guided the path, but Sienna and eventually Jasmine took control. The turbulence mattered. The risk mattered. “Find Sienna. Be with her. Win at life again.” (p.263) And still, despite everything, the plane landed. Jasmine, was shaped early by trauma, a mother’s shame cutting deep as she punished her daughter for refusing the narrow role of a dutiful woman and never letting her forget the cost of that refusal. As a result, Jasmine believed she was lacking, selfish, too egotistical, abandoned heritage, family, and God. Nor would she ever find true happiness in the arms of a woman. Stripped of her creative & artistic soul. Once magnanimous, Jasmine went colorless. Alas, the tormented, detached, aloof CEO Ice Queen. Putting duty, image, and reputation first. Sad. Broken. Lost. Caged. Winter presents the struggle well, a trademark and also draws from other Ice Queen characteristics in previous novels. Sienna the artist, lived for freedom. “A playful fearless spirit, gentle and free, who existed only to roam and learn and embrace new experiences. Someone with an enthusiasm for life and love,” (p.255) reflected sprinkles of Eden (The Villian Series), planted herself within the head and heart of one Jasmine Gemayel. Admired and enamored during her youth, Sienna, as an adult, was fated to melt the Ice. The story that links these two (past to present) is heartfelt and heartbroken. An accidental opportunity, a meeting of artistic minds, a cage, a bird, a sweet memorable dog, a hurtful twist, an awakening, a second chance, and a happily ever after. A recipe for emotional satisfaction.
