BI-LED: MORIMOTO M LED STAGE IIIPurists. Will start their critique before they get their hands on it. "But no!" they say. LED based projectors lack width! LED projectors have weak distance! BUT. Truth be told, it's hard not to like the MLED. The performance is on par. The simplicity is sublime. The ease of installation is excellent. The instant on is awesome. Output. We'll just start with the hotspot. The Morimoto M LED is on par with the Mini D2S 4. 0 and a XB 45K Bulb XB55

Purists.

Will start their critique before they get their hands on it. "But no!" they say. LED based projectors lack width! LED projectors have weak distance! BUT....Truth be told, it's hard not to like the MLED. The performance is on par. The simplicity is sublime. The ease of installation is excellent. The instant on is awesome.

Output.

We'll just start with the hotspot. The Morimoto M LED is on par with the Mini D2S 4.0 and a XB 45K Bulb / XB55 ballast, and about 20% brighter than its closest LED-based competitor: the CNLight i-lens. The Kuria optic clear lens and curved cutoff shield produce a beam pattern that's plenty wide, with an ECE-sloped cutoff that's super sharp, colorful. Rather than off-the-shelf LED's like early LED projectors in the aftermarket, the MLED uses a specially developed CSP chipset from Seoul SemiConductor.

Physically.

These bi-LED projectors have a lot going for them too. The threaded mounting shaft can be removed from the bi-LED projectors to free up almost an inch of depth for those who don't need/want it. The integrated mag-lev fan is sunk into the heat sink, keeping space to a minimum without sacrificing the ability to stay cool. The wiring is clean, out of the way, and can be disconnected with ease. The precision and existence of mostly die-cast (rather than stamped) parts in the cutoff shield mechanism makes for a slop-free setup and conveys quality over cost savings.

Simplicity.

Forget about separate bulbs. Forget about big ballasts, or where to mount them. Forget about complex relay harnesses, and where to run them. Here, you've got the bi-LED projectors and a small external LED driver to regulate power and control it's function. If you're a clutter-phobe, or simply tight on space working on something like a motorcycle: the Morimoto M LED is the way to go.

Easy to Install.

On a H4-based fog light reflector for example...Remove the fog light lens, insert the threaded mounting shaft through the pre-existing hole in the back of the reflector, add the alignment plate, tighten the lock ring, and re-seal the fog lights. For other applications, minimal cutting will probably be involved but you'll find the results well worth it!

Worth It?

If you want the latest and greatest, Yes. It is. Want to produce about the same amount of light output for your money? The Morimoto Mini D2S 4.0 is probably better for you - only because it's less expensive. But consider this: Yeah, the Morimoto M-LED projectors are expensive, but unlike a HID-based retrofit, you won't need bulbs, ballasts, in many cases a wire harness. You just need some shrouds, and that's about it! The rest is here.

Housing Sealant.

Protection is priceless! When you're putting together a set of high-end fog lights, the last thing you want is moisture in 'em the first time it rains outside. RetroRubber is the most effective way to make sure the original seal is fully restored.

        Good Beginner Matcha
Flavor Name: Superior Blend, Size: 1.75 Ounce (Pack of 1), Flavor Name: Superior Blend, Size: 1.75 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I am a beginner Matcha enthusiast and I love i making matcha lattes at home (my favorite is Strawberry Matcha lattes). I have repurchased Superior Ceremonial 3× now. I am on my second 3.5 oz bag. I've also tried another well known popular affordable matcha (Jade Leaf) and I immediately decided it is better to splurge accouple more dollars in purchasing Naoki. The texture of the powder is extremely fine. The color is a beautiful dark vibrant green. The flavor is very light with a very low bitterness and a hint of sweetness on its own. It has a very clean taste. However, the flavor does get easily over shadowed by milk and sweetners in a latte. If you want to taste the matcha better you need to add more matcha powder (~4.5 grams). Considering the fact that I am not drinking Matcha traditionally, I do not need a flavor profile that is super complex like what other matcha enthusiasts rave about (often times their recs are super overpriced for its size and/or hard to get). I just need something that will be paired well when used with milk and sweetners. I look for matcha with good quality, affordability, and easy accessibility to repurchase (via Prime adds extra brownie points). Superior Ceremonial checks all the boxes to a first good intro to matcha!

        absolute favorite!
Flavor Name: Superior Blend, Size: 3.5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I’ve been using Naoki Matcha Superior Ceremonial Blend for about two months now, and I absolutely love it. It has a very smooth taste with no bitterness at all, and it whisks into the most beautiful silky microfoam. The flavor is mild with a nice subtle umami taste, which makes it really enjoyable to drink every day. My favorite way to make it is as a strawberry matcha latte—it tastes just like something you’d get at a coffee shop. If you’re looking for a high-quality ceremonial matcha that tastes smooth and not too strong, I highly recommend this one. I will definitely be buying it again!

        Delicious at the right temperature
Flavor Name: Superior Blend, Size: 3.5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
160 degrees Fahrenheit is the perfect temperature to reduce bitterness in this matcha. 170 and 175 produced more bitterness. It’s smooth, savory, not bitter, mixes easily, and is delicious purely on its own (not in a latte). It’s a great value for drinking alone and probably on the more expensive end if you sweeten or add milk.

        Not bad
Flavor Name: Superior Blend, Size: 1.4 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Great if you like a more subtle flavor, not bitter. If you just add it to milk then it has a slight very brief strong aftertaste, but I like mine a bit stronger. it mixed well it did not clump for me, it was a great vivid color. I will say I prefer a strong, bold matcha taste in my lattes so I do not think I would purchase again but overall it is a great option for beginners, people trying to figure out what they like, or folks who like a smoother, not bitter taste. The tin did come dented unfortunately, not a huge deal but also not great to receive a product that has been somewhat damaged.

        Reliable favorite kitchen tool
        Color: Blue
This wonderful tool may be the most used tool in our kitchen. The hardest thing about it is to remember you can push the button and it runs- you don't have to hold it!. The charge on the rechargable battery last a long time- about 1 recharge per month- and we use it daily. We use the mixer attachment most. It works great for protein powders, collagen, iced tea or lemonade mix. It cleans easily and is waterproof- just make sure the cover is over the charging port. We have used it to froth milk, whip eggs, and as I said we use it daily to mix beverages. I worried about the price, but it is a great value because we bought it in December 2024 and it is more powerful and has already lasted longer than two whimpy ones.
