It's been fifty years now since the Princess set out to systematically capture her personal environment by taking photographs -- at weddings, anniversaries, art openings, the Salzburg Festival, concerts and motor races. Ever since there has been hardly a society event that did not become a topic for her camera. Whether partying with Spanish Crown Prince Juan Carlos or actor Sean Connery, or being aboard an official flight with former German Foreign Minister Hans-Dietrich Genscher, everybody shows respect for her, and everybody knows that she would never cross the bounds of confidentiality.
