The Qliphoth are the shattered shells of the Sephiroth and according to the Hermeticists of the Left Hand Path, they form what we might call the shadow of the Sephiroth. Together they form the Qliphothic Tree of Knowledge. It is called this because it grants knowledge of the shadow self, the unconscious, and the repressed.

The first Qlipha, called Lilith, is the shadow of Malkuth and is associated with the earth and the underworld. The cavernous underworld is the womb of the goddess and so this Qlipha is associated with feminine and sexual energy as well as with blood and the body. It is the gateway to further exploration. Return to it when you need to feel grounded and in touch with the earth and your own body. Work with this energy to understand your unconscious or repressed feelings about your own body and sexuality as well as face any fears that you may have about them as well.

This is a permanent change to your energy system, and you will have a few physical side effects that will fade over a few days.
