- Emerald is the only stone besides Topaz that is listed in all of the Ancient Birthstone Tables. Emerald is the most precious stone in the Beryl group. The name Emerald comes from the Greek "smaragdos" via the Old French "esmeralde", and really just means 'green gemstone.'
- Emerald's precious green color is caused by trace amounts of Chromium and Vanadium. Emeralds are considered one of the Four Precious Stones; the Sapphire, the Emerald, the Ruby and the Diamond.
- Emeralds are found in many countries, but Columbia and Brazil are the major producers; Columbia is recognized as the source for the finest stones. They are also found in Pakistan, Russia, Australia, South Africa, India, Norway, and the United States.
- Incas and Aztecs of South America, where the best Emeralds are still found today, regarded the Emerald as a Holy Gemstone. However, probably the oldest known finds were once made near the Red Sea in Egypt. These gemstone mines, already exploited by Egyptian Pharaohs between 3000 and 1500 B.C. and later referred to as 'Cleopatra's Mines', had already been exhausted by the time the mines were rediscovered in the early 19th century.
- Written many centuries ago, the Vedas, the holy scriptures of India, say the Emerald enhances the well-being, and are supposed to aid in fertility and abundance. Commonly today, they are closely associated with love and gifts of love.

Made for very small dogs- don’t buy if you have medium to large dogs

2 of my 3 dogs chewed right threw it <5 minutes of getting it causing a potential choking hazard. It’s small not durable but definitely soft. Only suitable for very small dogs

Adorable, lavender bone pillow
Great soft little bone that smell smells like lavender. I use lavender in the bedroom for my blind dog. These other scents in other rooms, but lavender is for the bedroom. That way she knows which room she is in. I made little cedar sachet’s to make a scent trail around the house so that she can go from one room to the next and not get lost. She recently became blind in the last eight months from her diabetes. She had already been deaf for a few years, so it’s been a big adjustment for her. But she’s become much more confident and is finding her way around very well. I use calendula sachet for her kitchen area. Clove sachets for her special area in the living room. Marigold‘ sachets in the office. And then I have orange scented sachet at the places that she needs to stop and turn around and go back. Nothing overpowering. 5 feet between the sachets. She will be 14 next month.!

Cute but not great
Very cute but not a good toy for puppies. We first had to remove the squeaker and scent sachet as our 5 month old Mal-Shih figured out how to get it unzipped. Then she proceeded to chew the zipper up. It’s now in the trash and it was only 4 weeks old! It’s not functional for a puppy.

Has a zipper
I took out the squeak as my girl took it out as there is a zipper which I was surprised at for a dog toy. I just have to watch her with it until I can see it shut. The lavender is a good quality and she love it.
