The il Magnifico Lapis Lazuli features an aged gold vermeil cap and blind cap finely engraved with lily flowers – the symbol of Florence - and the cap finial features the ancient coat of arms of the Medici family.

Limited to just 188 pieces worldwide, the il Magnifico Lapis Lazuli sports Visconti's large 18K gold nib and arrives in a beautiful box that doubles as a display case.

Lorenzo de' Medici was a 15th century Italian Statesman and Ruler of the Florentine Republic. Considered one of the most powerful and enthusiastic patrons of the Italian Renaissance, Medici was commonly known as Lorenzo "il Magnifico" (the Magnificent) by his contemporary Florentines for his work as an influential businessman, diplomat and politician and his patronage of scholars, artists and poets.
