The light dusting of phenolic carries the fruit to a dry, light textured finish. This Organic Pinot Gris is fruit driven with lovely pear and honey suckle flavours. An easy drinking style, clean, fresh with an off dry finish. Medium-dry in style and certified organic.

Following a hands off approach the fruit was harvested a little later than normal to enhance the fruit sweetness and then the juice was then left to soak overnight with the skins to extract a little more texture and complexity.  Extended lees stirring during a ferment kickstarted with wild yeasts from the vineyard itself has added layers of interest to the nashi, apple and honeysuckle-soaked palate.  Excellent length of flavour makes this a star, clean, tangy and tasty.

The wine is made from grapes grown using natural farming methods, applying organic and bio-dynamic methods.  The wine is low allergen – minimal additives. Good for the environment – The conservation message.  In releasing this wine brand, this company has formed a partnership with The Women’s Native Tree Project Trust.
