I have over 10 years of teaching experience and have also been a virtual instructor for the prestigious IAMPETH platform (International Association of Master Penmen, Engrossers and Teachers of Handwriting based in USA) 

The hot pink cover flourishing workbook is designed using color coding which will help you to understand where each stoke starts from. This break up of strokes will help you where you can lift the nib off the paper. Breaking things down into bite size pieces helps beginners and intermediate calligraphers. 

A detailed theory on how to form flourishes and their rules are explained.  The workbook has several variations of practice drills, entry, exit, ascender and descender strokes.  For example, I have drawn over 15 pages of beautiful capital stem strokes you can use for the upper-case letters.  You will also find 6 variations of each capital letter helping you pick your favourite flourish. Also includes a list of common useful words. 

I have had the wonderful opportunity to launch my workbook in San Antonio, Texas at the IAMPETH conference in July 2024.

Our dogs new favorite toy

Our golden doodle loves this toy. He isn't a highly aggressive chewer necessarily, but he has been known to destroy toys by chewing on them and such. This one, so far, has lasted over a month or so. It has turned out to be his go to toy when he's wanting to play with one. The squeaker isn't that loud and it's not that easy to find. I like that legs are rope material and makes it good for tug of war, which Max loves to do. The material is pretty sturdy and it is a good weight. Sometimes when the toys are too heavy Max won't catch them in the air, this one he catches in the air just fine. It's very cute and I think it will hold up just fine to our Max's level of chewing. I felt the price was quite reasonable considering how much he likes it.

Fun squeaky toy that my dogs destroyed quickly

My dogs were immediately obsessed with this toy. The squeaker and bright bird shape got their attention right away, and they carried it around the house constantly for the first couple of days. The rope running through the middle also made it more fun for tug games. The plush material is soft enough for carrying and cuddling, but because of that, it definitely was not long lasting with stronger chewers. Mine managed to tear into it fairly quickly despite really enjoying it. That said, it kept them entertained the entire time it survived, and the squeaker held up longer than I expected. I would recommend this more as a supervised play toy or fetch/tug toy rather than something for aggressive chewing sessions. If your dog loves squeaky plush toys, this one is very fun while it lasts.

Bigger than expected, but my pup enjoys it

This toy has been a great surprise for my dog. The green bird design is cute, but more importantly it’s actually held up really well to her throwing it around and chewing. The material feels sturdy, and the stitching has stayed intact even after lots of chewing, tugging, and carrying it around all day. It's bigger than I expected, but that hasn't deterred my Chihuahua. As a 2-1/2 year old with plenty of energy, she is definitely getting lots of use out of it! What I like most is that it keeps my dog engaged — the squeaker grabs attention right away, and it’s perfect for interactive play like tug-of-war. It’s soft enough to be a comfort toy but durable enough to handle rough play, which is hard to find.
