The Detail carving knife features a 1-1/2" long straight blade that comes to a fine point which is great for making detailed cuts that are very narrow. While both Palm tools fit comfortably in the palm of your hand and are designed for those who like to carve close to their work or are working on a project that's difficult to clamp in a vise.
