The Process

Step 1: Book Your Session & Set Your Goals – At checkout, you'll be able to schedule your Zoom session at a convenient time. You’ll answer a few quick questions about the role or interview you’re preparing for (and can share a job description) so we can tailor the mock interview to your needs. If you already have a resume upload it too, so you get the full experience of a real interview.

Step 2: 1:1 Mock Interview – In the live session, you’ll participate in a realistic mock interview. We’ll cover common behavioral and situational questions relevant to your target position, just like a real interview, while your coach observes and takes notes on your responses. While scheduling your session, if there are certain areas you want to focus on let us know.

Step 3: Real-Time Feedback & Coaching – After each question, your coach provides immediate, constructive feedback. You’ll learn what you did well and pinpoint where to improve. We’ll work on refining your answers on the spot adjusting your use of the STAR framework, clarifying your examples, and improving your communication (tone, pacing, and body language).

Step 4: Post-Session Follow-Up – Shortly after the session, you’ll receive a brief recap of the key feedback and improvement tips discussed. This ensures you have clear takeaways to review and practice before your actual interview. (If requested, a recording of the session can be provided for your personal review.)

Absolutely. This session is interactive. After you respond to each question, your coach will give you immediate feedback and guidance. You’ll even get the chance to refine your answer on the spot with the coach’s input, so you experience improvement in real time.

How do I schedule my session, and how should I prepare?
During checkout, you’ll be able to schedule your 60-minute Zoom session at a time that works for you. You’ll also fill out a brief form about your upcoming interview (role, company, and any specific concerns). That information helps us customize the session. Other than that, no extensive prep is needed, come as you are, ready to practice!

Is the mock interview tailored to my job or just general questions?
Yes, it’s tailored to you. We base the mock interview on the role/industry you’re targeting (you can even provide a specific job description). The questions will be relevant to the position and typical behavioral topics you’re likely to encounter. This isn’t a generic Q&A; it’s aligned to your goals so our practice is as realistic and useful as possible.

Will I receive notes or follow-up after the session?
Yes. After our session, you’ll get a summary of the key feedback points and recommendations discussed. This way, you don’t have to worry about remembering everything, you’ll have clear notes on what to improve and how. (And as mentioned, if you want a recording of the session for personal review, we can provide that too.)
