Installation Guide

1. Safety First: Disconnect the battery and remove the propeller before starting.
2. Drain Gear Lube: Place a drain pan under the lower unit and remove the upper and lower drain screws to drain the gearcase oil.
3. Remove Lower Unit: Remove the bolts securing the lower unit (gearcase) to the engine's midsection. Carefully lower the unit.
4. Access Pump: The water pump is located on top of the lower unit, surrounding the driveshaft.
5. Disassemble Old Pump: Remove the bolts holding the pump housing. Slide the housing and old impeller off the driveshaft.
