Frequently Asked Questions
What is Abre Ojos x Deftones?
Abre Ojos (meaning "Open Eyes" in Spanish) is a tequila brand that collaborated with the legendary alternative rock band Deftones to create this limited edition Añejo — a bottle that's as much a piece of art as it is a premium spirit.
What makes this tequila special?
It's crafted from a blend of highland and valley agave, cooked in traditional brick ovens, naturally fermented in open-air tanks, and aged nearly two years in American oak — a production process that honors traditional tequila-making while delivering a bold, complex flavor profile.
Is this a collector's item?
Yes — as a limited edition release tied to the Deftones, this bottle is highly sought after by both tequila enthusiasts and music fans. Once it's gone, it's gone.
How should I serve it?
Best enjoyed neat or on the rocks to appreciate the full complexity of the nearly two-year aging. Also makes a premium base for a tequila Old Fashioned.
What size bottle is this?
This listing is for a 750ml bottle of Abre Ojos x Deftones Limited Edition Añejo Tequila.
