The Original Manuscript of Don Quixote — Collector's Edition
A limited worldwide edition of 998 numbered copies.
A one-of-a-kind work. It is a tribute to the genius of Cervantes.
Galobart Limited Editions presents the definitive recreation of the original manuscript of Don Quixote — a deluxe edition designed to honor the most renowned work of Spanish literature and its author.
The original manuscript.
Based on rigorous philological, calligraphic, and historical research, this volume faithfully reproduces the original quarto format and Miguel de Cervantes's handwriting. An exclusive typeface, based on his autograph documents, was created for this purpose.
Each copy is hand-bound in natural leather with gold stamping and finishes inspired by books from the Golden Age.
The accompanying book.
This second volume is also bound in leather and contains texts and essays by the authors and researchers who made this work possible. It details the recreation process, the history of the lost manuscript, and its impact on universal culture.
The Quixote Chest:
Both volumes are presented in a handcrafted wooden chest with a key, designed to protect and preserve the edition. Inside, each chest holds a secret that connects the reader to the spirit of the original manuscript.
Each set is individually numbered from 1 to 998, making it a unique collector's item.
