It's made of solid oak, walnut and natural walnut burl wood veneer with an ebonised edge and carved decoration on all drawer fronts. It sits and contrasts beautifully with this original Calacatta marble top which is removable. It has 5 drawers total with 2 small ones on top. Condition report:

In great antique condition throughout as has been freshly polished. Overall, a lovely example of its kind. The marble has 2 tiny holes on the back on either side consistent with the age and period and a few stains and chips. (Pictured) It certainly only adds to the beauty of this piece and the history attached with it. There is a key with this piece which is used to open the large 3 drawer fronts
however it does not turn but used to pull the drawer. The middle drawer is a bit stiff when opening. Where possible our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!
